Central Church Weekday Preschool is a weekday ministry of Central Church of God. The purpose of CCWP is to allow personal time for parents while providing children a Christian environment in which to grow spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Our goal is to promote a learning atmosphere in which your child will develop and maintain a positive self-image based on his or her relationship with Jesus.

Our curriculum consists of age-appropriate materials carried out through weekly themes to include Bible stories, learning centers, and development of large and fine motor skills, as well as cognitive and emotional development by use of manipulatives. A variety of quiet and busy activities are offered throughout the preschool day; some are teacher directed and some are child led.

We firmly believe that each child is a unique creation of our Father God, deserving respect and love. We provide an environment that allows children to discover the lessons Jesus taught through prayer, instruction, and play each day. We strive to maintain a warm and welcoming atmosphere that will minister not only to the children but to each family as well.

All students from Toddlers to TK participate in our Traveling Tumblebugs, physical activity program. Children in the 3's, 4's and TK classes will attend music & art classes a minimum of 30 minutes each week, as well as preschool-appropriate chapel services. Weather permitting, children are offered outdoor time on our playground for 30 minutes each day. On rainy days, we fill an auxiliary room with toys that encourage development of gross motor skills. This large, bright, open room within our facility provides lots of run-around room for our preschoolers.


Our program is available to children from 3 months to 4 years of age and currently offered from 9:00 a.m. to 1 p.m.  The school year runs from September through May. Please see the Classes & Fees page for more details on specific class offerings, tuition, and fees for the 2010-2011 school year.

Morning drop-off will run from 9:00 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. and afternoon pickup from 12:50 p.m. to 1:05 p.m. Each day in the classroom, children eat a lunch sent from home. Car rider drop-off and pickup lines will soon be available to bring children into and out of our building each day. The lines will start up in the third week of September after children have settled into their new classrooms and parents and teachers have gotten familiar with each other.

Registration is held in February for the following school year. Please visit the Registration page for more information or call for current rates. Tours are offered by appointment only. Wait lists are kept by age level and are created after registration. A wait list will stay in effect until registration for the following school year is completed.
